MAN JUMPS OFF BRIDGE AFTER MOTHER REFUSED TO KEEP CAT AS PET

In a bizarre incident, a 22-year-old man Maulvik Saundalkar, attempted suicide as his mother refused to let him keep a cat as a pet.

The man bought a cat for Rs 6,000 and got frustrated after his mother allegedly ‘insulted’ him by asking him to earn first before keeping a cat.

In a fit of rage, the man took his motorcycle and went to the Marine Lines station where he jumped off the Meghdoot bridge.

The man was later taken to a nearby hospital where he is being treated for multiple fractures.
