MAN DRAGS DEAD ANIMAL BEHIND BIKE, LION FOLLOWS: WATCH CHILLING VIDEO!

A chilling video took everyone by surprise after a man was seen dragging an animal carcass behind his motorbike and an Asiatic lion following the trail went viral on Wednesday. In the video, a male lion was then seen appearing from the bushes and chasing the carcass for some distance.

Some persons standing at a distance and recording the video could be heard cheering the man on the bike when the lion came out of the bushes. This 15-second clip went viral on social media and people demanded action against it.

According to NDTV report, a person was detained in Gujarat on Thursday after a video surfaced in which a man was purportedly seen dragging an animal carcass behind his motorcycle apparently to lure a lion, a forest official said. Forest officers said that an enquiry had been initiated in the matter, and man in the video was a lion tacker and that he was removing the carcass from the public gaze.

Media reports further state that, Chief Conservator of Forests, Junagadh Wildlife Circle, DT Vasavada who took serious note of the incident, said strict action would be taken against those found harassing lions in the state. "A person allegedly involved in the incident has been detained for questioning," Vasavada said. He further added that the video was shot two to three days back near a small forest patch in the state's Amreli district.
