According to reports, an Indian-origin man was shot in the US while trying to protect his son from robbers who tried to break into their house on Monday. Reportedly, robbers tried to force their way into the house as Thakur Persaud pushed them back until they were near the street to protect his son who was inside the house. One of the robbers shot Persaud in the thigh and fled.
