17-YEAR-OLD BECOMES YOUNGEST INDIAN WOMAN TO CLIMB KILIMANJARO

Shivangi Pathak, a 17-year-old teen belonging to Haryana has claimed to be the youngest Indian woman to climb Africa's highest peak, Mount Kilimanjaro, in just three days.
 

Her feat is awaiting confirmation of official sources for authenticity. Pathak said that she got inspired after watching a video of mountaineer Arunima Sinha and started researching on mountaineering.
 

Calling for parents to ardently supports girls' aspirations and goals, Shivangi's next target is to scale Europe's highest peak.
