FACEBOOK 'GIRLFRIEND' CHEATS RETIRED 66-YR-OLD BANKER OF MASSIVE AMOUNT

A retired 66-year-old banker, hailing from Gurugram, filed a complaint with the police claiming that he was cheated of Rs 35 lakh by a woman, whom he befriended on Facebook.

The woman introduced herself as Jenny Anderson from London and claimed to be a jeweller and said that she was stuck at the Mumbai airport and needed money to clear immigration formalities.

The man not only gave away Rs 13 lakh of his savings but also took a loan of Rs 22 lakh from private lenders only to realise that his Facebook girlfriend has conned him.
