Gujarat Elections : Shocking result in PM Modi's hometown

The BJP candidate Narayanbhai Lalludas lost by a large margin of over 19,500 votes to Congress’ Asha Patel in the Unjha constituency, which includes Vadnagar, the Prime Minister’s hometown. Asha Patel (Congress) got 81,797 votes, while Narayanbhai Lalludas (BJP) got 62,268.
