Assam Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma was reported saying that people suffer from life-threatening diseases such as cancer because of sins committed in the past. He also went on to call it “divine justice “. Kapil Sibal, a Congress politician responded by tweeting -“Hemanta Biswa Sarma says that cancer is divine justice for sins committed.
