Bus drivers, conductors will be fined for being 'too loud'

The Delhi Transport Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited has reportedly issued an order stating that bus conductors will be charged a fine of Rs. 100 if they are "too loud" while making boarding calls at bus stops. According to media reports, drivers who honk loud will also be fined ₹500. The fine has been introduced to curb "dangerous levels" of noise pollution.
