PILOT SWITCHES AC AT FULL BLAST TO MAKE PASSENGERS LEAVE

The AirAsia pilot of a delayed Kolkata-Bagdogra flight allegedly put the air-conditioning blower on full to vacate the plane after passengers refused to deboard since it was raining outside.

A passenger was quoted as saying that they were sitting inside the flight for one-and-a-half hours without food or water. "When passengers refused to deboard due to heavy rains outside, the captain put the air-conditioning blower on full blast to hound the passengers out. It created a scary scene as heavy fog was created inside the plane and it was very suffocating," he added.
