ACID ATTACK ON 17-YEAR-OLD GIRL; DETAILS LISTED

The viloence against women continue to be one of the major threats in the present living conditions. In the past, the physical violence took form by the usage of dangerous weapons and chemicals such as Acid. A deadly Acid attack on a 17-Year-Old girl in UP's Bhadohi has come into light via PTI. 

Reportedly the incident happened on Monday in Dulmadaspur at a meeting where one group tried to stop another group singing religious songs. It is said that a clash broke out between Fakhruddin's family and Ashfaq's family. Reports say that Ashfaq's son tried to stop Fakhruddin's son from singing a religious song that led to manhandling.

"At around midnight, 12 people of Ashfaq's side barged into the house of Fakhruddin and attacked his family with rods, scissors and acid. Fakhruddin''s daughter (17-year-old) was also injured in the acid attack. Some other members of his family also suffered injuries due to the acid attack," Superintendent of Police Ram Badan Singh was quoted as saying by the reports.

Reportedly a case has been registered against 11 people from Ashfaq's side and 5 of them were arrested. The police are on the lookout for the rest of the people who are on the run. Meanwhile, the 17-year-old girl and her injured family members are admitted to Varanasi hospital for treatment.
