MCDONALD’S INDIA FRANCHISE OWNER UNDER IT SCANNER

According to a report on India Today, the Income Tax Department has decided to conduct searches in McDonald's restaurants located at 20 different locations in India. The Hardcastle Restaurants, which is the main franchise responsible for operating McDonald's in India was under the scanner. The franchise allegedly holds the complete rights to own McDonald's outlets in India which has a direct relationship with McDonald's Corporation USA.
