What is it about?
Sushant Singh Rajput and Kriti Sanon's cross-over love drama directed by Dinesh Vijan. Raabta brings the best chemistry between Sushant and Kriti, and they are coming together for the first time. The movie begins with Sushant traveling to Europe for his work, and he meets Kriti, and both of them fall in love. Jim Sarah makes a presence in the story, and the movie goes back to the historical setup of the previous generation of him, Sushant Singh Rajput and Kriti Sanon. What happens next makes the film's plot.

What makes up the film?
The cross over from present days to the historical backdrop is an exciting genre. In Raabta the intense love between the lead Sushant and Kriti is too brilliant. The background score of the film makes the visuals appealing, especially the historical backdrop which is very subtle, and Pritam's work has been very evident.

What doesn't work?
This reincarnation film lags logical thinking. The film has major loopholes. Debutant director Dinesh Vijan has done a decent job but could have worked well on the detailing part at the scripting stage. Towards the end, the film seems a little dragging and easily a few minutes could have been chopped for better engaging.

What worked?
Sushant and Kriti's chemistry is undoubtedly the biggest positives of the film. Dinesh Vijan's script and screenplay in the contemporary love story is appreciable. Pritam's songs and Martin Preiss's cinematography have worked big time.

Well?
Raabta was promising from its trailer but unfortunately, the film missed the much needed logical thinking which makes the script weak and the screenplay is a big let down in the second half. The love portion of the film has worked well, and Sushant's one liner comedies make audiences burst out laughing.
