This year, Galaata the annual fund raiser
of the Udavum Karangal Bay Area Chapter is
back with a bang. There is a new line up programs
and new sponsors for this event.
embedUR Systems is one of the key sponsors
for Galaata'09. embedUR, founded in March
2005, is a software services company with
specific focus on the embedded market. The
company provides software architecture, design,
engineering and implementation services with
a track record of successful implementation
across several verticals such as telecom,
automotive, aerospace, medical, and industrial
domains.
embedUR’s value proposition for its
customers include an ability to provide specialized
embedded programming skills on a need basis,
help customers reduce “Time-to-Market”,
and provide a significant competitive advantage
by leveraging a Global Delivery Model.
embedUR is headed by its CEO & Founder,
Rajesh Subramaniam. He has been instrumental
in articulating a vision for embedUR and fostering
a culture that promotes respect for individuals
and professional growth.
embedUR is 28 people strong and has offices
in Chennai, India and Fremont, California.
embedUR has a history of contributing to social
causes like Sankara Nethralaya, the disaster
relief fund work for states like Gujarat,
and the Red Cross.
Rajesh comes from a hardworking family that
epitomizes the Indian middle class. Rajesh
remembers the sacrifices made by his parents
to help him get a good education and the tools
to go after his dreams.
Rajesh thinks “dignity and respect”
are two important parameters that determine
human progress and sets us apart from all
other species. The fact that organizations
like Udavum Karangal have been established
to promote dignity and provide an atmosphere
that is conducive for disadvantaged sections
of our society resonates with the culture
that Rajesh strives to promote at embedUR.
According to Rajesh, “Associating embedUR
with noble causes like Udavum Karangal helps
us give back to society in a small way and
hopefully will help disadvantaged children
realize their dreams.” |
