This weekend’s biggest release, Ninnu Kori is a love story starring Nani, Nivetha Thomas and Aadhi Pinisetty in the lead roles is directed by Shriva Nirvana. With a love story releasing every week, will Ninnu Kori have anything different from what Nani’s recent love stories? Maybe yes, but will it be accepted wholeheartedly and does it engage you throughout?

You are offered an usual Nani type breezy romantic love story for a large part of the first half. Maybe you don't find anything new; Nani’s presence, few laughs here and there, some good music and cinematography work keep you buzzed.

Some may have disagreements with the proceedings and blame the script complications on the bad decisions of the lead characters. But if you look at them as imperfect characters that are hasty while making decisions, you will get used to the story.

Towards the interval mark, the story takes a different shape and moves onto a tricky terrain. A section of the audience could find the core script a little too hard to digest, especially the traditional ones. Post the mid-point, the film might work only to a set of audience who could accept with the concept it deals with.

Nani deserves a pat on his back for accepting a subject such as this especially while his career is booming. In the 1st first his character is fun loving and more romantic, whereas in the latter part it is more emotional with a tint of negative shade. That dark shaded character is handled with care and also with fun, so at no point, you would hate Nani.

Probably Ninnu Kori is Nivetha Thomas’ best performance till date and Aadhi too has done a neat job. Murali Sharma is however the surprise package. He gets to don a calculative father and gives a convincing show both in comedy and emotional scenes.
