Dec 9th – Kamal issues an audio statement to elaborate on the DTH model, quotes price as Rs.1000. Also addresses concerns raised by Muslim conservatives.

Dec 11th – Producers association and the Tamil Nadu Theatre Owners Association (TNTOA) meet. The Producer’s Council is welcoming of the idea, TNTOA is jittery. Bharathiraja openly supports DTH.

Dec 19th – The TNTOA refuses screening of Vishwaroopam after an internal meeting, say they won’t entertain any film going the DTH way.

>> Kamal urges public to create short films on DTH emphasizing its pro’s.
