AIRAA - BHAVANI AND YAMUNA
Airaa features Nayanthara in a dual role for the first time, Bhavani and Yamuna. While Yamuna's striking energetic and fiery role with an adventurous streak was refreshing, Bhavani's role was a completely varied one in comparison. The latter was a shy, introverted self, one in which Nayanthara shone like a star even in black and white shades. She efficiently demonstrated the subtle changes a girl's confidence can create in her life, both in the same movie through the two characters. An excellent demonstration of the Lady Superstar's fine acting skills.
