Atlee's Bigil brought back to screen the much awaited lead combo of Villu. Nayanthara excelled in the role of a cute yet headstrong woman so-in-love with the man of her dreams. Also, the way she rose up to support him when he needed her, the way she was always at his side to provide moral support and the moment she speaks up when he couldn't, all these different characteristics were portrayed brilliantly by Nayanthara.
