SUPER DELUXE TRAILER
The cult following of Aaranya Kaandam (which also had a terrific trailer with an unconventional voiceover) has led to the Himalayan level of expectations for his second film, Super Deluxe. The trailer featured different strands of narratives in the backdrop of a metaphorical monologue (narrated by Vijay Sethupathi), the most-imitated voiceovers in recent times... With a highly saturated colour palette, a mumbling score and Vijay Sethupathi’s surprising appearance as Shilpa, the transwoman, Super Deluxe trailer climaxxes with a terrific stretch of music, despite appearing for just a few seconds.
