A slightly offbeat movie with Ameer in the lead, it had music that was rugged and different- some prominent sarangi pieces that were a treat and the much-relished ‘Seermevum Koovathule’, a take-off on the ‘Navarathri’ therukkoothu song. Had the film had a better response, Yuvan Shankar Raja’s songs would have made deeper impact.
