Dharmadurai. which sees Vijay Sethupathi joining hands with director Seenu Ramasamy for the second time, had its audio launch today, on the 3rd of August. The event was organized at Sathyam Cinemas, Chennai, with celebrities like actor Rajesh, director Bala, director Thangar Bachan and many others gracing it.
Producer RK Suresh who began the event with a welcome note thanked director Bala sir for giving him his acting debut. He also said that Bala is like his God and he will always be grateful to him.
Actor Rajesh said “I'm a big fan of Ilayaraja sir. His mystic knowledge can be seen in Yuvan Shankar Raja also”.
Yuvan Shankar Raja after thanking Vairamuthu for his lyrical contribution, quoted “They call this my comeback. I don't think it’s like that. I have not gone anywhere. I just took a small break.”
Director Seenu Ramasamy who praised his assistant directors for striving through the tough conditions said, “Dharmadurai is my kiss on Vijay Sethupathi’s forehead”.
Director Bala who launched the album joked, “I thought director Seenu Ramasamy was an idiot. But after watching his movie, I was sleepless for almost a week”.
Vijay Sethupathi who spoke towards the end said, “The interesting thing about this movie is it begins with the climax. I am thankful to Seenu Ramaswamy not only for giving this project but also for Thenmerku Paruvakatru and will always be thankful. He is my Dharmadurai”
The event ended with a beautiful thank you note to the all the celebrities present and the vibrant audience.
