Director Shankar, who is fresh after the success of 2.0 is working on his next project with Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan, Indian 2 which is a sequel to his 1996 film, Indian. The shoot of the film started early this month on January 18th.
Today there was a piece of interesting news that was doing rounds that director Shankar is planning to do a youthful entertainer with his trademark grandeur after Indian 2. What grabbed many eyeballs was the case details in the news. It was mentioned that Thalapathi Vijay's son, Jason Sanjay and Chiyaan Vikram's son, Dhruv Vikram will reportedly play the leads.
When we tried to verify this news with our sources close to the respective teams, the unanimous response was, the story is completely baseless and denied as mere rumour. Jason Sanjay who is currently studying has already acted in a few short films and Dhruv Vikram has finished his debut film 'Varma' in style in Bala’s direction is expected to release soon.
Director Shankar is now busy shooting for Indian 2. The first look posters of the movie were already released which has created a huge curiosity for the return of Indian thatha Senathipathi. Indian 2 also includes Kajal Agarwal, Nedumudi Venu and others. The movie is produced by Lyca Productions which has music by Anirudh Ravichander and camera handled by Ravi Varman.
