Thala Ajith's Viswasam BBFC British Censor Report

Thala Ajith's Viswasam will be making its way to the big screens on January 10, alongside Superstar Rajinikanth's Petta. With an engaging action packed trailer, Viswasam has gained more expectations from Thala fans and the general audience.

The film has been censored with a clean 'U' certificate by the CBFC (India) with an approved runtime of 152 minutes (2 hours 32 minutes).

The film will be released on the same day in London and the surrounding cities. The official censor report has been released by British Board of Film Classification (BBFC) and it has some changes from the Indian version.

BBFC has rated this Siva directorial as 12A with an insight that the film has moderate violence, and injuries shown in the visuals. Also, this British theatrical version of Viswasam will have a lesser runtime and the film has been cut by 4 minutes and 7 seconds.

The BBFC Report of Viswasam states, "This work was cut. The cuts were made at the request of the distributor to achieve a particular category. To obtain this category, cuts of 4m 7s were required. Details of cuts may contain spoilers or plot details. Approved Running Time 147 m 17 s (2 hours 27 minutes)".

So, it looks like Viswasam will have a slightly different version in its British prints. Get set to catch it from January 10.
