While analysing, we further understand that this makes 24 one among the top 10 Tamil film grossers in Kerala box office. Few other films part of the list are Rajini’s Sivaji and Enthiran, Vikram’s I, Vijay’s Theri, Kaththi and Thuppakki.

Reports suggest that the previous record for Suriya was 8.3 crores gross for Hari directorial Singam 2.
