CELEBRITIES WHO WEREN'T ABLE TO VOTE

Election day was filled with pictures of celebs casting and posing their inked fingers after casting their votes (not to mention the load of Facebook selfies of our friends who voted). A long list of Kollywood celebrities including Rajini, Kamal, Ajith and Vijay were extensively covered by media personnels when they came to vote. It was a mischance for fans and media personnel waiting to spot Suriya, Vikram, Dhanush, A.R.Rahman and Vikram Prabhu at their respective poll booths since they weren’t able to vote this time.
 

Suriya, as explained by a press note sent out by him, was caught up abroad due to unforeseen travel plan changes. He explained that he was deeply grieved at the turn of events and apologised to the people of Chennai.
 

In the case of Dhanush, a confusion regarding the constituency in which he was supposed to vote was being talked about as the reason for him not voting. It is also said that his wife and director Aishwarya also suffered from the same problem.
 

Vikram, A.R.Rahman, and  Vikram Prabhu, as in the case of Suriya, were also unable to get back home from abroad in the midst of their schedule.
