2D Entertainment, the makers of 24, have planned to give free ‘magic’ watches for the children who go to watch the movie in the theatres. Newspaper and social media ads about the same are being distributed by 2D. It must be noted that a similar promotional activity was planned by 2D for Pasanga 2 when tickets for children below 10 years of age were offered for free.

A watch plays the main plot prop in the recent release of Suriya’s 24. In the past, many portals such as a sand clock, magic crystal, car, spaceships, and sophisticated chairs have been used for time travel in movies. Director Vikram K Kumar though has used a more obvious portal as an instrument of time travel, a watch in 24.
