Nadigar Sangam aka South Indian Film Artistes’ Association’s election happened today, as per orders by the Madras High Court, from 7am to 5pm. The election had 1604 voters voting today by 5pm during the end of the polls.
Sivakarthikeyan, Kathir, Gayathrie, Prabhu, Rajkiran, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Nikki Galrani also cast their votes during the election today. Sivakarthikeyan talked to the media after casting his vote for the elections.
He said,”I was out of station so I have come a little late for the election today. I am so happy that this time in the voters’ list my name was present.” It must be noted in the latest Lok Sabha Elections of 2019, Sivakarthikeyan’s name was not present in the Voters’ list.
Sivakarthikeyan also said,”Both the competing groups have my friends in it so I was confused whom to vote for. But I know that whoever comes in power will do the right things needed for the association and the artists.” Watch the video here:
