Actor Rajinikanth is on a roll. After the huge box office success of his film 2.0, his next film Petta directed by Karthik Subbaraj is receiving positive reviews from the audience. Meanwhile, he met the press to answer few questions post the film’s release.
When asked about the film’s positive response, he replied “People have liked the film. Thanks to them. All credits will go to Sun Pictures, Karthik Subbaraj and the whole unit. Karthik pushed me for each and every scene to bring back the vintage Rajini, and to bring back the style so that the fans will love it. And now, I heard that the audience are indeed loving it, and I’m very happy.”
When asked about his current political plans, he said “Now it’s about Petta. We can talk about that later”.
Petta, directed by Karthik Subbaraj also stars Vijay Sethupathi, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Simran, Trisha and Sasikumar in lead roles. It released on January 10th and had a grand opening at the box office.
