Maran to stream from March 11 on a OTT platform

Produced by Sathya Jyothi Films, Maaran also features Malavika Mohanan, Samuthirakani, Smruthi Venkat, Aadukalam Naren, Bose Venkat, Ramki and Master Mahendran. The film is set to release on March 11 in the popular OTT platform - Disney+Hotstar where Dhanush is seen playing the role of an honest young journalist.

The makers have revealed the story of the film to the fans in the trailer itself that was released a couple of days ago and has caught the attention. The story of the film introduces Dhanush’s Maaran as a celebrated investigative journalist who never hesitates to speak the truth to those who are in power. There is also one who will get exposed in to the scam - a powerful politician (Samuthirakani) and the rest of the story is the big fight between them.

So the story seems to be about how the deceitful man manages to take revenge on Dhanush and overcome him with his skill. Samuthirakani, who has already acted with Dhanush in films like VIP and Vada Chennai, will be seen facing-off Dhanush directly in this film. Both the actors impressed the fans with their acting skills and the interest to watch them together has stirred the excitement among the fans.

Jagame Thandhiram, starring Dhanush, had already been released on OTT. After that, the actor's next Atrangi Re co-starring Akshay Kumar and Sara Ali Khan was released on Disney + HotStar. Now, this will be Dhanush's next OTT release on March 11.
