'Siragu' is an upcoming film written and directed by lyricist and poet Dr. S. Revathi (aka Kutti Revathi). She has written lyrics for movies like Aruvi, Maya and notably from Maryan ( 'Nenje Ezhu' and 'Enga Pona Raasa').
The male lead actor of the film is Harikrishnan who is well know for his performance as 'Johnny' from the film Madras. He has also acted in critically acclaimed films like Pariyerum Perumal and Rajinikanth starrer Kabali. This is the actor's first film in a lead role. The female lead of the film is played by Akshita.
The audio of the film will be launched by the acclaimed director Mani Ratnam on June 15th. With the songs being released by Mani Ratnam, the team would be getting a morale boost.
The cinematography of the film is done by 'Pyaar Prema Kaadhal' fame Raja Bhattacharjee and V.S Arun Kumar has handled the cuts. The film features music by Arrol Corelli. Stay tuned for more update on the film.
