Actor Mammootty is currently awaiting the release of his next tamil film, titled ‘Peranbu’, directed by Ram. The movie will be releasing on the 1st of February. Post the preview show of the movie, Mammootty shared a few statements about the film.
“This movie is very special for uss. All of us have played our parts with a lot of love. Acting for this movie was never difficult for me. I just imagined having a daughter, and lived the role”, said Mammootty.
When asked about his long gap in Tamil cinema, he replied saying “For the 10 years, I have been acting in movies. I just haven’t acted in Tamil movies. There’s no particular reason as to why a Tamil movie didn’t happen.”
Peranbu also stars Anjali, Sadhna, Anjali Ameer and Samuthirakani in lead roles. It has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja, and is bankrolled by P.L.Thenappan under the banner Shree Raja Lakshmi Films.
