Once upon a time, it was nothing short of a triumvirate ruling the screens - Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan and Vijayakanth, when the latter of the three branched out to politics. Now, it is an all together different matter that all three are playing the field now.

By the by, all these actors share interesting trivia - at times, involving each other. The only film in which Kamal Haasan and Vijayakanth shared screen space was Manakanakku (1986) in which Haasan makes a cameo as a film director working with ‘Captain’.

Coming back to Kamal, he is working on Indian 2, directed by Shankar and with Kajal Aggarwal for company. Captain, on the other hand, has his feet deep into politics. Both actor-politicians have been doing their bit for people affected by the coronavirus.
