The comedians in our movies double up as the hero's best friends invariably and we are presented healthy doses of bromance along with the hero's romance. Santhanam, Vivek, Vadivelu and some of the newer comedians such as Premgi, Sathish, Sathyan and Srinath represent the epitome of friendship in most of these movies, along with tickling the funny bone. 

 

Our superstars have also acted in epic friendship based movies such as Thalapathi, Friends and Nanban, to name a few. It's an indisputable fact that friendship is an inseparable part of our movies. After all, a man without friends is a rarity.
