Javed Akthar is a popular National award-winning lyricist whose career spans over four decades in the Hindi film industry. The lyricist-screenwriter is known for his straightforward statements and sharp wit. The actor had recently expressed shock for being credited as lyricist in a Hindi film he didn't work for.
Javed Akthar took to twitter to express his concern over being credited as the lyricist of the upcoming film PM Narendra Modi, a film starring Vivek Oberoi and directed by Omung Kumar of 'Marykom' fame without having worked in the film Not only Javed Akthar, another Hindi film lyricist Sameer had also expressed concern over being wrongly credited in this film

The film's creative producer Sandip SSingh clarified the issue on his twitter account.
We have taken the songs 'Ishwar Allah' from the film '1947:Earth' and the song 'Suno Gaur Se Duniya Walon' from the film 'Dus' in our film, thus we have given the due credits to respective lyricists Javed Sahab and Sameer Ji. @TSeries is our Music partner. @ModiTheFilm2019

PM Narendra Modi is based on the life of current Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and is set to release on 12th April.
