- Vivek-Mervin’s musical, Pugazh has been censored by the CBFC with 'U’ certificate. This feature starring Jai and Surabhi in the lead is eyeing a December 11th release.

- Srikanth and Raai Laxmi’s horror flick Sowcarpettai receives an ‘A’ certificate from the CBFC. Sources reveal that Srikanth will be playing a dual role in this Vadivudaiyaan directorial and the team plans to have its theatrical release on December 11th.

- Mottai Rajendran has gone through a makeover similar to Sivakarthikeyan of Ethir Neechal for a small song sequence in Vikram Prabhu’s Veera Sivaji. The popular “Velicha Poove” song from Ethir Neechal will be enacted by our Ghost Gopalavarma in this film directed by Ganesh Vinayak.

- Director Aravind Ramalingam’s Karma is an official entrant to the Hollywood Sky Film Festival. This film opts for the film festival and National award route before planning its theatrical release.
