A.R.Murugadoss completes one and also launches a beauty

Director/producer AR Murugadoss, after notching up a good show in Tamil with the Vijay starrer Kaththi has moved on to his Hindi project titled Akira where Sonakshi Sinha plays the lead. The film, said to be a remake of Shanthakumar’s Mounaguru, also has Sonakshi’s dad politician/actor Shatrughan Sinha in the cast list.

The film also features Anurag Kashyap, the maverick Bollywood director and Raai Laxmi in a guest role. Akira went on floors recently and completed the first schedule. R D Rajasekhar is in charge of cinematography and he had updated about the completion of the first schedule in his social networking page.

Raai Laxmi who is upbeat about the film tweeted,
