Dhanush and Simbu - Rivals yet 'brothers' too

Though Simbu had acted in close to a dozen films as a child artist, his debut as a hero materialized through Kadhal Azhivathillai in the year 2002. From thereon, he went on to act in some superhit movies like Manmadhan and Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa. Though his graph might suggest an oscillating success rate, he still enjoys a mad fan craze among the masses.

On the other hand, Dhanush who also ventured into films in the very same year as Simbu did (2002), with his urban teen love story, Thulluvadho Ilamai, has also been entertaining the audience with his distinct choice of movies and unique performances. From a Manmatharasa boy to a Kolaveri Superstar who rubs shoulders with people like Amitabh Bachchan, Dhanush's career graph has elevated to a different league now.

Apparently it was reported, during the initial stages of their respective careers, that both Dhanush and Simbu were not in the best of terms but as years passed by, they are now considered to be best buddies for life or even more than that. Yesterday we reported that Simbu would be reinstating his project with Dhanush’s brother, Selvaraghavan soon.

On hearing the news, Dhanush shared his excitement in this regard, through his twitter handle. In his tweet he has addressed Simbu, as his 'Thambi' (kid brother). Though they are still considered to be rivals by profession, they seem to enjoy a brotherly bonding off screen. Way to go !!!
