A smart young actor who is prepared to stay in the industry by choosing his scripts very carefully, Ashok Selvan is all set for the release of his next venture Savaale Samaali. Directed by Sathyasiva and produced by C Arun Pandiyan, and with music by S.Thaman, this film is likely to hit the screens in March. Savaale Samaali features Ashok Selvan and Bindu Madhavi in the lead roles.

Ashok Selvan spoke to our Behindwoods Correspondent regarding the story and his role in the film. He said "I play a character who works as a part of the crew behind the scenes for a television channel." When asked about the plot of the film, he said "The film will feature the gimmicks that happen to increase the TRP rating of a television station."

He looks very enthused about shooting for an off-beat subject like this and is waiting for its release. He said "The film has come out really well. We have used a lot of slapstick comedy along with Jagan here. It was fun shooting with this team and I am hoping the film to work well amidst the crowd."
