AVM is known to be one of the pioneers when it comes to film-making and production in Tamil cinema. Their history goes way long back. One must admire their tenacity to make so many quality films over many decades. More importantly, they are among the very few production banners to work with almost all the leading actors of the Tamil film fraternity.

When you take the current top 6 actors in Tamil cinema – Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan, Vikram, Ajith Kumar, Vijay and Suriya, to our knowledge, only AVM has produced movies with all these 6 actors.

AVM produced Ayan & Perazhagan with Suriya in the lead, Vettaikaaran with Vijay, Thirupathi with Ajith, Gemini with Vikram and plenty with Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth, the latest being Per Sollum Pillai and Sivaji respectively.

There are many other production houses who have made films with most of these stars but not all of them. Now we have one banner that could accompany AVM in the list soon. We are talking about Kalaipuli Thanu’s V. Creations.

V.Creations have produced films with all the aforesaid stars, but Rajinikanth. But from the look of things, Thanu collaborating with the Superstar is not far away as V.Creations are reportedly the front-runners to produce Rajinikanth’s next with director Pa. Ranjith.

V.Creations have produced Aalavandhan with Kamal Haasan, Sachien and Thuppakki with Vijay (they are joining hands for the third time in 'Vijay 59' to be directed by Atlee), Kanthasamy with Vikram, Kandukondain Kandukondain with Ajith Kumar, Maayavi and Kaakha Kaakha with Suriya.
