An interview with actress Vidyu Raman ahead of her 25th film
Tamil cinema’s newfound cutesy and bubbly girl ought to be Vidyu Raman. When you may still be talking about her as a newcomer, here she is working in her 25th film, which has Allu Arjun in the lead. That is the pace with which she has been approaching her acting career.

When we had the fun opportunity of chit-chatting with her, she had a lot of interesting things to share about all the top stars she has acted with. Here is a quickie from the long conversation we had.

Vijay

“He is one person from whom you learn how to remain grounded even after reaching heights. He sincerely advised me to remain the same, no matter what, because he thought if I changed, it would be like mutton biriyani sans mutton pieces.” (we bursted out with the comparison)

Ajith

“He redefines the word gentleman! I was taken by astonishment with the kind of concern and protection he showed for me. Though I just appeared for a few scenes in Veeram, I had the fortune of interacting with him. It would be great to work again if I get an opportunity.”

Suriya

“He is one person who never holds back to appreciate someone or their work. He in fact stood by the monitor even during my close-up shots to help me and further applauded if my performance was good.”

Santhanam

“He has supported me from my Neethane En Ponvasantham (NEPV) days. From then to Inimey Ippadithaan he is a source of great support. He goes out of his way to bring out my caliber to light.”

Nayanthara

“She was a buddy from the very beginning. Highly professional and a perfectionist in her approach, we exchanged a lot of girl talks.” (giggles)

Tamannaah

“She is another very good friend of mine. We are ‘BINDASS’ on and off the set.”

VSOP team

“Rajesh sir is capable of giving such weightage to non-heroine characters. Arya encouraged me so much that the space and scope for my character amplified further. By far, VSOP will offer the audience my best form. I am very excited for the film and hope it is well-received by the audience."

With more than 10 films in both Tamil and Telugu in her kitty like Puli, Tucker, Panjumittai etc. Vidyu Raman thanks all her industry friends, press and audience who have unflinchingly showered a lot of love on her since her entry into the industry.
