Protest against Kamal Haasan movie?

We had earlier reported that the shoot of Kamal Haasan starrer Uttama Villain was happening in Bangalore. There are rumours floating around that certain people from Karnataka Producers Association protested against Uttama Villain’s shooting, and the team was sent packing to Chennai.

However, we hear from the producer of the movie, N Subaash Chandra Bose that such rumours are baseless. Talking exclusively, to Behindwoods, he said, “Our team has completed the shoot in Bangalore, and hence we have come to Chennai. We will begin shooting in Chennai from tomorrow.”

Uttama Villain stars Kamal Haasan in double roles, and has a long list of heroines - Pooja Kumar, Andrea Jeremiah, Parvathi Menon, and Oorvashi. The movie is directed by Ramesh Arvind.
