Kochadaiiyaan and Bhoothnath Returns to release on the same day

Superstar Rajini and Amitabh Bachchan to take each other on

Yesterday we had reported about the official release date of Superstar Rajini's Kochadaiiyaan. The film is set for release on April 11th, in as many as 7 Indian languages and also with an English version for the international markets. The worldwide screen count is reported to be more than 6000. 

 
A leading Bollywood trade analyst has updated that Amitabh Bachchan's Bhoothnath Returns is also releasing on the same day, thereby making this a clash between the two senior-most superstars in the country. 
 
There was a similar clash between Rajini and Amitabh's movies way back in June 2007, when Sivaji The Boss and Jhoom Barabar Jhoom released on the same day. Sivaji won that contest by a mile and we have to see how the latest edition of the Amitabh - Rajini clash pans out.
