Is Santhanam a part of Superstar Rajinikanth's Lingaa?

Ever since the Superstar Rajinikanth – KS Ravikumar project Lingaa was announced, the movie is gathering wide expectations. The movie already has a huge star cast that includes Bollywood heroine Sonakshi Sinha, Anushka Shetty, and Jagapathi Babu.
 

Meanwhile there are rumors circulating in the internet that Santhanam will play a prominent role in the movie. In a clarification with our Behindwoods correspondent, Santhanam said that his involvement in Lingaa wasn’t confirmed yet. He has been approached for a role and his dates need to be worked out before his part in the movie can be confirmed.
 

Santhanam’s next release, Vallavanukku Pullum Aayudham has him playing the solo lead. He is also a part of the Udhayanidhi Stalin - Nayanthara starrer Nanbenda and Shankar’s magnum opus Ai starring Vikram and Amy Jackson in the lead.
