Sanjay Dutt says Pongal O Pongal, in true Tamil style

KS Ravikumar and Sanjay Dutt were recently in Chennai for the shooting of their movie Policegiri, which happens to be the remake of Vikram’s blockbuster Saamy. The intro scene and some fight sequences are planned to be shot here.

 

Pongal also happened to fall in this period and KSR wished to celebrate the festival on location. Sanjay Dutt was also enthusiastic when he heard this and he immediately changed to a silk dhoti and shirt in typical Tamil style. They also brought Pongal pots on to the set and celebrated the festival in authentic Tamil style.

 

On the whole, it was a happy experience for the entire set, according to the director.
