Defence Minister apologizes to Rajinikanth

The 45^th International Film Festival of India began on the 20^th November and our very own Superstar Rajinikanth was awarded with the Centenary Award for the Film Personality of the year by Amitabh Bachchan and Information and Broadcasting Minister Arun Jaitley.

Manohar Parikkar, former Chief Minister of Goa and the present Defence Minister of the country, while addressing the gathering mentioned the names of dignitaries like Information and Broadcasting Minister Arun Jaitley, Goa Chief Minister Laxmikant Parsekar, Minister of State for I&B Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, State Governor Mridula Sinha, but forgot to mention superstar’s name.

But he realized his faux pas and made a statement, “Sorry. I had written (the names down). Forgot the paper down there”.  That was a nice gesture indeed!
