Vijay, Suriya and their similar heroine tales

Vijay and Suriya - two of the most popular stars among the current crop of actors have been sharing a strange similarity with respect to the heroines that work in their respective movies. This phenomenon has been happening over the past decade or so, as both these stars have been invariably working simultaneously with the same heroine almost every other year. We take a look at this strange little coincidence

2003 - Jyothika - She shared the screen space with Suriya in Kaakha Kaakha and with Vijay in Thirumalai

2005 - Trisha and Asin - While Trisha worked in Thirupachi and Aaru with the two stars, Asin worked in Sivakasi and Ghajini with Vijay and Suriya respectively.

2007 - Asin - The Kerala beauty continued her association with the two young guns in movies like Pokkiri and Vel, that year

2009 - Nayanthara - It was Nayan's turn to share the screen space with the two matinee idols in Villu and Aadhavan.

2012 - Kajal Aggarwal - Kajal was the lucky lass to work with both of them, in two big ticket flicks, Thuppakki and Maattrraan.

2014 - Samantha - This year it is the cute Samantha's turn to groove with Vijay and Suriya, in 'Vijay 57' (a film to be directed by Murugadoss) and Anjaan respectively.
