Vishwaroopam actress to be honored!

Waheeda Rahman, the much talented and the beautiful yesteryear actress who scorched the silver screen in films like Pyasa and Guide will be honored with the inaugural Centenary Award for Indian Film Personality of the Year at the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) on the 20^th of November 2013 at Goa. The festival is scheduled to go on for ten days.

Ms Rahman will be given this award for her contribution to cinema and was selected by a five member jury. The award carries a citation, a certificate, a medal (silver peacock), a shawl and a cash prize of Rs 10 lakh.  It is said that Waheeda is playing an important role in Kamal’s Vishwaroopam-2.
