Ilayaraja appeals to his fans

Just a day after music maestro Ilayaraja was discharged from the hospital where he was admitted after complaining of mild chest pain, the legendary composer came forward through a video to assure his fans that he was doing well.

He also took the opportunity to inform that he was advised by his doctors not to embark on any long distance travelling at the moment and therefore Ilayaraja said he would be unable to make it for the King of Kings Concert in Malaysia.

Ilayaraja said “I know that even if I’m not there my music will make its presence felt in your hearts wherever you go. I want to therefore appeal to the people of Malaysia not to return their tickets due to my absence.” Karthik Raja, Yuvan Shankar Raja, Premgi and many more from the family are presently in Malaysia preparing hard for the concert, and the show will go on as per schedule.
