Dhanush and Vetri Maaran in top 20

Kaaka Muttai, a project jointly produced by Dhanush and Vetri Maaran, was recently sent to the Berlin International Film Festival. Directed by Manikandan, the film is about a bunch of slum kids. It is also reported that the film has been made for festivals.
 

The film was one among the hundreds of films that participated in this year’s Berlin International Film Festival. We now hear that it has been chosen as one of the top 20 films in the competition. There are apparently a couple of more rounds before the final winner is announced.
 

Meanwhile, Simbu has also done a cameo in the film and the movie can be expected to release soon for the Tamil audience.
