Marudhanayagam an Indian version of Gladiator
Sep 04, 2013 The shoot of Kamal Haasan’s dream project Marudhanayagam had started in the year 1997. However, the project did not reach its completion due to various reasons. Kamal had mentioned in an interview years ago that he will make sure he releases the movie some day. It has been 16 years now and the mega budget film is still the most anticipated film of the audience.
Kamal’s VFX supervisor, Madhusudhanan had spoken about the film recently. Madhusudhanan assured that Marudhanayagam was a world class script that could easily challenge any film on earth.
“I would love to do Marudhanayagam, if that happens, at any cost” He said.
The VFX supervisor added that the script is still not outdated even after all these years and that it would be an Indian version of Gladiator.
