For the 100th day function of Venkat Prabhu’s Saroja, Suriya was one of the chief guests. On the occasion, Suriya shared with the audience that he was Venkat Prabhu’s senior by one year, at school. Both of them studied at St. Bede’s school in Chennai and Suriya broke this info in a cheeky manner at the said event.

Venkat Prabhu recollected this event during a recent episode of the game show that he is hosting. While inviting him for the 100th day function, Venkat actually jokingly insisted Suriya to tell the public that he was his senior at school so that the public doesn’t think that Venkat Prabhu is an oldie.

He also said that he and Suriya go back a long way as good friends.
